With the exceptional opening of the Barberini Gardens and of the Apostolic Palace, the Pontifical Residence of Castel Gandolfo welcome the public at large.
Visitors will have access in a multi-lingual tour to the botanical and architectural wonders of the pontifical residence, known by now as the "second Vatican".

The meeting point is at Castel Gandolfo (located 24 kilometres southeast of Rome).
Reservation may be reserved up to 60 days before the date of the intended visit. Reservation changes may be made up to 72 hours prior to the date and according to availability.
For those who book a walking tour to the Barberini Gardens and to the Antiquarium of Villa Barberini (Guided Tours for Groups or Guided Tours for Individuals) it will be possible to buy, on the day of the visit, an admission ticket for the Apostolic Palace in Castel Gandolfo with a special reduced rate of Euro 7,00 per person.
The visit is not currently accessible to wheelchair users or persons with reduced mobility.
