    A. Yes, the online reservation allows you to skip the line of entrance to the Museum.
  • Q. How and where can I pay for my reservation?
    A. Reservation must be paid, by cash, on the day of the visit inside the Museums.
  • Q. Is it possible to obtain a refund of the tickets bought online?
    A. No, it is not possible.
  • Q. After having booked an admission ticket online, is it possible to take part in a guided tour?
    A. Yes, it is possible. Please contact the e-mail address written at the end of this page
  • Q. I have followed the booking procedure but I haven't received the voucher, what can I do?
    A. If yout do not receive your voucher your booking is to be considered not valid. If this is the case, please proceed to make a new booking.
  • Q. Does the admission ticket to the Vatican Museums grant access to the Sistine Chapel?
    R. Yes. The Sistine Chapel is included in the admission ticket for the Vatican Museums.
  • Q. Does the admission ticket for the Vatican Museums include Saint Peter's Basilica?
    R. No. Saint Peter's Basilica is not included in the admission ticket. Admission to the Basilica is free of charge.
  • Q. Is it possible to change the date and time of the reservation?
    A. It is possible to make the change by having the reservation code, the email and the date of birth of the person concerned. Therefore, click onto "Change of Reservation - Date and Time" in the menu on the left and follow the instructions.
  • Q. Is it possible to change the names of the participants?
    A. It is possible by clicking onto "Change of Reservation - Participants" by having the reservation code, the email and date of birth of the person concerned.
  • Q. Is it possible to increase the number of participants?
    A. No, it is only possible to change the date and time, according to the availability. In this specific case, you have to make another reservation.
  • Q. Is it necessary to present any document in order to access to the Vatican Museums?
    A. Yes, the Voucher you got by email together with a valid identification document must be presented at the entrance of the Vatican Museums.
  • Q. I lost my Voucher, it is possible to have a copy of it?
    A. Yes, Click in the left menu on "Voucher resending" and fill in the mandatory fields (email, reservation code and date of birth of the person concerning the reservation). In case of missing reception of the email containing the copy of the Voucher, contact the help desk at the email address written at the end of the page.
  • Q. May I book a ticket for other people than me?
    A. Yes, of course. Correctly specifying participants' names is mandatory, the names won't be displayed in the voucher itself: they are stored in our information systems to allow verification by museum's staff.
  • Q. Do I need to register myself before doing a reservation?
    A. No, you don't . If you need to book a visit the registration is not required.
  • Q. Is it possible to book reduced tickets?
    A. Yes, it is possible for children between 6 and 18 years of age and students up to 26 years of age with a student identity document (International Student Card to show on the day of the visit).
  • Q. Do I have to pay tickets if there are children under 6 years of age in my group?
    A. No, you don't, they can enter for free with your group.
  • Q. Do I have to inform you if in my group there are children under 6 years of age?
    A. No, you don't. They can enter with your group.
  • Q. At the end of the Guided Tour is it possible to remain inside the Museums with my ticket?
    A. Yes. The ticket enables admission to the Museums after the tour. If your tour includes Saint Peter's Basilica, your tour ends in the Basilica, and therefore it is not possible to return to the Museums with the same ticket.
  • Q. If I buy a Guided Tour for the Vatican Gardens, is it possible to see the Vatican Museums with the same ticket?
    A. Yes, but you have to visit the Museums on your own (without a guide).
  • Q. If I buy a Guided Tour for the Vatican Museums, is it possible to see the Vatican Gardens with the same ticket?
    A. No, it isn't possible. You can see the Gardens only with a Guided Tour.
  • Q. Is it possible to have a reduced ticket for people over 65 years of age?
    A. No, it is not possible. They have to purchase a full fare ticket.
  • Q. Can disabled visitors book free tickets online?
    A. No, it is not possible. Free tickets for disabled visitors and for accompanying persons are issued, on presentation of documents testifying disability, at the Special Permits' Desk, or Reception, situated in the entrance hall to the Vatican Museums.
